Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

I suffered property damage to my house (wall), as a result of negligence on the part of the management company of our homeowners association. But because the damage was a result of an indirect action on their part, my insurance policy only covers direct action to the wall, and my insurance company therefore, will not settle the claim. The management company is still responsible for the damage, but they have been reluctant to come forward and settle, because they are hiding behind my insurance company's lack of responsibility in settling the claim. I need help in making sure that the management company makes me whole

You need to hire counsel to assert your rights. If the management company refuses or delays in settling this matter, then you will need to file suit.

I agree with the above counsel.

Hire an attorney.

They will probably write a demand letter on your behalf and try to settle. If nothing fruitful comes from the talks then your attorney will file suit.
