Signed Rental Contract

I just signed a Rental Contract with Option to buy the home on Monday, 4/21/08. I am having second thoughts. Can I get out of the contract?

It would depend on the terms of the agreement you signed. There is no "right" to "get out" of contracts, except in very limited circumstances, e.g., refinancing your residence, some door to door sales. Generally, once you sign, you are obligated.

I'd have to see the terms of the Agreement, but probably not. Now, that's a separate question from what you might owe if you breach the Agreement. In other words, it may be worth it to you to breach the deal rather than get into an Agreement that will cause you problems down the road.
