Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois

no real reason to pull me over, now i'm royally screwed

I was pulled over, when asked why i didn't get a response...i was searched asked to get out of the car, and found out (unknown to me) that my liscence was suspended ...ultimately they impounded my car...When i left the station i found that i had three tickets...one for no license...no insurance...and broken taillight. My taillight is not noticable broken...the case is cracked but it still works....Am I just sol or is there something I can do? Got my car back...but while in the pound the drivers' side window smashed, trunk broken into, and back seat completely pulled out. Help..

You may have available to you what is called a "motion to quash the arrest". Before you are likely able to do anything about the damage to your car, it is important to resolve the charges against you. Do not take them lightly as driving on a suspended license is a misdemeanor with up to a year in jail and/or a $2,500 fine. It sounds as though you may have defenses. You do need counsel.
