Does an executor have to file a will in probate with a living trust?

If there is a will, it needs to be filed with the County Clerk (probate desk) within 30 days of death, whether or not there is a trust.

After a person dies, anyone in possession of that person's original Will is obligated to record it with the County where your father lived (in most circumstances).
