There is no way to advise you without looking very carefully and specifically at the trust in place now. You may not need a new trust, but there's no way to know without more information.

Feel free to call me to discuss. There is no charge for an initial phone call to determine how to move forward.

The important thing is to administer your husband's trust. Surviving spouses often feel no pressure to do so becuase they retain control over the assets after the first spouse dies. You are doing the right think to address it now. The failure to do so could have adverse consequences for you, and also your children upon your eventual death. Warm regards to you.

It primarily depends on the language in the living Trust and the last deed to the house. Feel free to call me to discuss this in full. I don't charge for introductory phone calls.
