protesting a will

hi, my girlfriends mom passed away and she is in charge of her will and her step-sister has done nothing but accused her of everything and now her brother is in on it but her step-sister is not on the will but her brother is she is selling her moms house now and she has done way more then any of them, can they block the selling of the house and they want to protest the will can they do this and if so what will happen???

The brother may be able to contest the sale, but not the step-sister. In order to block the selling of the house he would have to petition the court. It is difficult to comment further without knowing more. Why doesn't he want the house sold?
