Generally, in my view, there is no con to receiving both SSD ad Worker's Comp. There is a complex mathematical formula that will be used to reduce your SSD payments, but in the long run, your compensation will be more that just Workers Comp alone. You do need to alert SSD that you are also receiving comp.

If you are receiving SSD or qualify to apply, it seems that you have sustained a serious work injury. I advise that you retain an attorney, as you may be entitled to compensation that you may not know about.
