Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I booked a car with an authorised dealer in new delhi and later upon taking a test drive realised that it wasn't quite what i had expected. SO I stopped payment of the booking amount cheque that i had given him. Is there a possibility that the dealer can bring up a case against me in a court of law? they got me to sign all the requisite forms etc. and there is a condition of deduction of Rs. 5000 on the booking amount in case of cancellation.

i do not think that the dealer will rake up this issue. relax and look for some other vehicle. read more on indian laws on my website www.karvai.in.
