Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India
Dear Lawguru,
I was working in dubai (UAE), and came to India on vacation in july 2007. I could not go back. I had amount outstanding on my credit card. Recently a credit collection agency in India started calling me. Is it legal.? I am job less now and cannot repay the money immediately.
Please advice on this as i am getting harrasing calls from them.

Certainly you have legal protection but you must also repay the loan. Contact local lawter as advised to you already.
