my daughter in law who has filled case againgt us under sec.498,125 and domestic violance in the court.has filled a false affidevit in the court ,i understand that filling a falles affidevit tentamounts to misslead the court.we are having documents like bank pass book salary certificate etc and in a position to prove that this is a wrong affidavit filled in the court.kindly guide me that:
1:- whether it is a offance if yes it is criminal or civil
2.in what way it will have its effect on the case and the judge if we produce the relative documents and prove that the affidevit filled in the court is wrong and baseless(false) and miss leading

If u can prove her affidavit as wrong then she will be prosecuted under criminal act. On other side judge will also came to know about the nature of the girl and will be in your favor.

if you can prove then she can be held guilty of perjury (False Evidence) under criminal law. The judge may pass judgement in your favour.
