Legal Question in Family Law in India

My brother is staying in my mother's house along with his wife and kids, My brother is mentally harresing my mother for money and property. Moreover my brother does not have a job and had a drinking problem and gambling. He abuse my mother in front of everybody. My mother is alreay had 2 heartattachs and fears her life is in danger all the time.

Please help my mother how to handle this situation. she wants to stay alone in her house without any tensions

she can simply tell her son to leave the house; and in the event of refusal, she can call the police.

tell your mother to give your brother an ultimatum to leave otherwise take poilce help for throwing him out of the house

You can not help a person who does not wish to help himself.Ask your mother to take a stand and threw such son from her home and necessity arise take the help of court & police.

why don't you take care of your mother!

a legal heir you brother has a right to the property but not to harass!

try settling the matter amicably - help your mother sort out problems and settle your brother in a another house!

or else file acriminal complaint
