marriage

As asked before I'm a hindu guy

wants to get a divorce & marry a

muslim girl,I was suggested to take

a divaorce and get converted to

muslim religion and then get

marryed I want to know if she is not

giving a divorce and if first get

convertd to muslim and get maaryd

to the muslim girl will the first wife

have the right to file a case against

such a husband.

Please let me know as my wife is

not ready to giv a divorce with

mutual consent therfore i feel i

should get convertd to muslim

religion and get marryd to the

muslim girl,guide me

Yes, in that situation the first wife may ALSO initiate criminal proceedings against you; and you may suffer a jail term.

if the sole purpose of converting is found to be contracting the 2nd marriage then certainly your wife would be able to maintain a criminal case against u.

As said earlier you will be landed in jail for betraying your wife and for bigamy without having taken a divorce when you are hindu.Conversion of religion would not cater any purpose except imprisonment.

If yu will converted to muslim even then your wife can file a case of biagamy against you.
