Legal Question in Employment Law in India
i have my indian passport already issued to me. i want to add my surname to my passport. i have all my educational and other documents in my and my parents' first name only. what formalities i have to do to get my surname added to my passport ? pls guide.

Get a notice regarding the change of your name from say 'Sameer' to 'Sameer Khanna' published in Part IV of the Gazzette of India. You may then, probably, be able to get your name changed in the passport by taking this Gazatte notification copy to the passport office.
