Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India

Dear all,

I have ground floor flat in co-operative hsg society which is in the commercial locality. I wanted to find out whether I can use that flat as my office and if yes, what documents do I need to submit to the society? If I just keep only one room as office and rent out remaining rooms to other as their office, say for e.g. Lawer/CA's office, doctors office, or to conduct classes? In other words, for which type of businesses I can rent out my flat (fully or partially) without society's intervention? what legal documents do I need to submit? Would there be any charges that I need to pay to the society? In the same building, another ground floor flat is being used as a office. Appreciate your early reply

thanks

Anil V
