Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
hii would like your help with regards to redevelopment in pagdi system. we live in pagadi house we have a one room kitchen the owner lives in the ground floor and we live just above its a one + one . so the landlord lives down and we live up. there are other owned houses in the area about 10 houses in all. but ours is the only pagadi house which is 1+1. so we are 2 pagadi system tenants on the 1st floor and the landlord has four rooms on ground floor. now there is a builder who has come for redevelopment and wants to raise a building there. please let me know how much can we demand from the builder if we can. we are living there from the past 20 years and have electricity bill ration card telephone bill in our name. also we have all our rent receipts in place.can we demand for one extra room so that will be a one bedroom flat as we already have a one room kitchen now which is around 300 sq ft. please advice thanks a lot. would really appreciate your quick reply.
