district of maharashtra. we own a appmnt reg.in jnt name.(spinster sister&me) she was staying alone till about a yr. back but due to oldage (80+)related illnesses presently with me in mumbai. in her long absence it is brought to our notice that a family with 2 kids have occupied it(tresspass).though informer it is observed they are showing forged documents to neighbours. how to move against them for repossession? success&duration? whether disconnection of electy./writting to other authorities is advisible/useful?

You may lodge a complaint of criminal tresspass with the police and seek re-possession of the property.
