if the property is of my great grand father what right i have on it as a great grand daughter?

Hello.

Good Afternoon.

As per the Hindu Succesion Act and the latest amendment from the Supreme Court of India you do have an equal right/share in the said property.

In case if there is a will then you have to get a probate in the Session Court.

you have an equal right as compared to your father and his father including your brother and brothers of your father and his father. after amendment of 2005 even girls have an equal right.

Depends on nature of property i.e. self acquired or ancestral joint family property. As also your status on the date of demise i.e. married or unmarried and if married date of marriage etc.
