Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I want to raise my child but mother whats to give up

Hi I have been having a problem with my

ex-girlfriend we were dating for 3 or 4 months and on and we broke up

now she is pregnant and she doesn\'t want the baby because there is a

good chance that it will be mixed. she has said this many times at

work and she is thinking about putting it up for adoption but I can\'t

accept that I want to be the one to raise my child but she is hellbent

on getting rid of the baby so she doesn\'t have to deal with it. Last

night at work she was upset about something she claimed that in order

to to put the baby up for adoption she would have to do a dna test she

was furious about that. and then she came up to me and told me and

said, \'' Hey some people are going to call you and you\'re going to

have to sign some papers.\'' I told her that I refused and before I

could tell her that I wanted to raise my own child she turned around

and told me well if you don\'t sign them then you will be going to jail

! for rape. I was shocked because I never raped anyone in my life nor

has any thought like that ever entered my mind. I\'m not sure what to

do I told the management at work but they filed a report. but thats it.

I am not sure what to do I do

Send her a letter and advise her that you will raise the child. Additionally, put together all of the evidence that you can to show that she was your girlfriend; pictures, love notes, receipts for dinners, shows etc. this may help to rebut the rape accusation. Finally, HIRE AN ATTORNEY RIGHT AWAY!
