Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

What is an unfit parent
I am writing with a question regarding what exactly is meant by an unfit parent. My boyfriend is going through a nasty 2 year divorce. We have reason to believe she has a job that she isn't claiming, possibly stripping or something in that area, because she doesn't want her support to be reduced. What appears to be happening is that she is leaving the kids wherever she can so she can leave for the evening, to do whatever it is she is doing. I don't think she physically or mentally abuses them but I don't know that she is giving them the attention that they need.

Your boyfriend needs to request a custody evaluation to be done by the Domestic Relations Counseling Bureau.

That will help bolster his case.

Alternatively, he could hire a private investigator to find out information on the mother.
