Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

The last few weeks my ex and I seperated. She has my last name I have all her legal documents. I claim her on taxes and have been her main provider. How do I keep her mom from takeing her back to her mothers. 5 cats no room of her own. and fleas. I've had her all week. Shes coming friday to pick her up. How can I keep her till a court date

How can you keep your ex there; that sounds like a felony to me, as an adult spouse can leave anytime she wants. Your wife's mother can take your wife in if she wants. What would you be going to court for? (Keep in mind that your post mentions nothing about any children of yours, so they might play a part in it if they exist).
