Legal Question in Medical Leave in Indiana

approved for FLMA jan06...June06 had to reapply for flma..FLMA then denied as i had not met the hrs requirement...from Jan to June 30...did not use the 12weeks of FLMA..was this calculated correctly..7/1/06 was the beginning of our new fiscal year..as a result, i had to resign from my job of 27 years and my UEB was denied..legally what can i do

Whether you can take action against the employer will depend on whether you qualified for leave under the FMLA. You should contact an attorney to discuss whether the employer made an error in calculating whether you satisfied the hours requirement.
