Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Indiana
was wondering if it were against the law to have a community you live in set rules such as no window unit air conditioning. They only allow central air conditioners, and I can not afford to go that route and in a mobile home if it's 95 outside, it's 100 inside. Thank you for any of your help!!

Most trailer parks have rules that are referenced in the lot lease. Unless, the rules are discriminatory such as race, ethnicity etc., they are usually legal. Of course, if you have a handicap or medical condition there may be a violation of the Americans WIth Disabilities Act if a reasonable accomodation such as allowing a window unit is not made.
