Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

going to the doctor on job time

I want to know what the law or rights to going to the doctor while you are scheduled to be at work?

can it count against your attendance and can you be fired from your job even if you have a doctors note for everytime you go to the doctor in this state?

Re: going to the doctor on job time

Typically you are expected to be at work. You may have sick days or vacation days. Personal matters are on your time and count against you. They did not hire you to pay you to go to the doctor, they hired you to work. If you can't do the job then they can get someone who can.
