Legal Question in Employment Law in Indiana

I got injured at work. I was denied workers compensation because my boss didnt report it in a timely manner. Now I cant lift over 5 pounds because my surgeon says so, and I need surgery. My work isn't trying to help me when I injured myself there. What can i do??

YOu have not indicated whether you submitted your case to the workers compensation board, if you did not, and it is only the insurer denying your claim, hire counsel to file a claim on your behalf.
