Re: real property

If the property you inherited from your father remains in your name alone, and you never conveyed an interest in the property to your husband, then your husband's business debts cannot be enforced against your separate property. I suggest you confer with a local attorney experienced in real property law to devise a way to keep your husband or his creditors from fraudulently using the property as collateral. Good luck.
