Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

elderly going to assisted living

If my name is listed first on my dads house deed (his is listed 2nd)and he goes to assisted living where you surrender all assests, can they take his house also? My name has been on there for approx.8-10 years and I have paid all upkeep & taxes.

The order of names means nothing. It has how it was deeded to you that matters. If got the property as joint tenant, then you I would say you are ok.
