My wife passed away from cancer in three and half years she had some medical debt that insurance did not pay I've never signed financial responsibility there was no estate we own the house together she did have life insurance will I have to pay that debt I'm from indiana

Indiana recognized that spouses may be responsible for "necessities", which can include medical treatment. I would certainly not pay any debt until the creditor makes that claim and sues you for it, however.

As long as you did not sign any documents binding you to financial responsibility, you are not responsible for anyone's debts.
