Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Iowa

Poa

My sister and brother have POA over all my mother's affairs. They pay themselves for visiting her in the nursing home and say it is all legal. My brother now wants a check to pay from my mom's account to pay for his son's college - saying mom would want him to go to college. The boy is 14 years old and mentally challanged - probably won't graduate high school. Can they legally take my mom's money and put it in my brother account?

Re: Poa

From your description, it does not sound like they are acting in good faith, which they are required to do. You should contact an attorney in your area.
