What are my chances on winning a case where my ex-girlfriend is sueing me for a carpet loan in which she went and purchased carpet for my home but my name is no where on the loan and I made no arrangements (verbal or written) to pay her for the loan?

It is difioult to give you an accurate estimation of the success of the case against you. You may be able to raise the statute of frauds as an affirmative defense, but you only have a short time in which to raise it.
