Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Louisiana

My son is on probation, but has a telephone harassment court date coming up. This harassment charge was filed April 7th, 2011, well before his probation, which began in January, 2012. Because this happened before any arrest for his current probation, will this in any way be considered a violation of his probation? Since it happened beforehand, I'm hoping it will not. Any answers out there?

Probably not. I suggest you contact his probation officer and make them aware of all of that information.
