Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

My daughters father recently informed me that he was going to take me to court for full custody. He has no grounds for change of custody. It would be detrimential to her to take her from me. Infact, one of his last text says he couldn't have asked for a better mother for his baby girl. What do you think the chances are of this actually making it to court?

The judge will decide all issues of custody in the best interests of the child. There is a presumption in Louisiana law that both parents are in the child's best interest. In order for a court to give custody to only one parent, apart from an agreement between parties or special circumstance, the parent losing custody would have to be found unfit.
