will it help?

i am the NCP(dad), who is order to hold insurance on my kids. but, being in the state of La. will it help if I asked my atty. to request that my ex hold insurance as well on her end. How will this help me if I am the one paying and how will it hurt me as far as paying support. meaning, will it make my support go up or down?

If you are paying the health insurance get your lawyer to have the support recalculated. It should lower your support obligation.
