Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana

I am an american citizen, I working in a Subway in LA and I converted to Islam & was fired for wearing my head scarf. I told them it was for religous reasons and I was still denied. I had been wearing it previously and no one ever said anything to me about it. I was called one day before my shift and told I could not wear it & if I had to wear it to not come back. I dont understand this because they are a international company. I currently live in Egypt and I was wondering what to do. Advice would be appreciated.

Thank you for your time

You filed your question in the wrong state. LA stands for Louisiana, not Los Angeles. You want CA for California.
