Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana

This is a very peculiar legal problem that you have. Nevertheless,

assuming that your hustand wants to keep that job in the future, he

should kindly and gently go to the head payroll clerk or person and

make an inquiry as to what the reason is for the non-payment in the

usual manner and hope and pray that this matter will be taken care of

soon and that things will get back to normal for the company/employeer.

On the other hand, if your husband is at the point of leaving this

employment and seeking other employment, he can just give notice

of his intention to quit and then quit; and then by law they must pay

him off within twenty-four, hours of his written demand upon them for

his wages then due , in default of which, his wages keep running for

up to ninety (90) days; and he can then sue for his wages due at the

time of his qutting, for his penalty wages due and for his attorney's

fees necessary for him to collect his regular and penalty wages due him.

There is much more to it all than this, but this is something to
