Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana

I am looking for any informaiton on filing an amicus brief in Federal district court, Louisiana. There are no Federal Rules or local rules for the same, except I do know such are allowed and even sometime preferred at the trial-court level as opposed to appeals.

I would like some "free" info on form and content of the brief and any squibs.

I have never heard of anyone filing an amicus brief in a district court. Amicus briefs are regularly filed in appellate courts (especially in the US Supreme Court, where they are commonplace), but I have never heard of anyone filing one in a district court. That is not to say that you can't. You may be able to. I would call the clerk of court and, if they don't have the answer, the office of the Judge presiding over the case (ask for the Judge's law clerk).
