Legal Question in Product Liability in Louisiana

Hello: lets say I have a website called barbieworld.com that was a socal network for owners of barbies to interact with each other, would the use of the name barbie in my url have legal conflict with matel, the makers and owners of the name? Could I sell tee shirts with barbieworld.com logos? Thanks in advance. Tim

You could have a legal conflict. Have you checked the trade name barbie? If it is registered then you open yourself to legal action. You can sell with that name with no problems and then one day you are hit with a lawsuit claiming infringement and bam, you owe them bunches of money.
