Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Louisiana

i need to speak to an attorney about the statue of limitations for sexual harrassment and assault laws. I am trying to build a case against my former roommates and university for sexual assault.

I am not familiar with the actual laws although i have been misinformed about them on many occasions.

If anyone would be willing to give me an initial consultation pro bono i would appreciate that.

Pursuant to federal law, you have 300 days fromthe last act of harassment to file a charge with the EEOC alleging sexual harassment, if you are in Louisiana. For a state law claim, you have one year from the date of the last harassing conduct or event to file suit ( or longer if you've already filed an EEOC charge). A Civil claim for battery must be filed within a year as well ( if you want to know about criminal charges, you should call the DA's office). Hope this helps.
