You can go to the clerk of court's office and ask to see the succession record. That may tell you something. Otherwise, go to his office and ask him to explain why the succession has not been wrapped up. If you cannot see him, then tell his secretary if he does not contact you within 24 hours, you will file a complaint against him to the bar association. Then call the Louisiana State Bar Association in Baton Rouge and find out the procedure for filing a complaint. If nothing is suspicious, then he will contact you. Lawyers today are even more busy than in the past. When the economy is bad and the administration causes the business community to be afraid, the lawyering business picks up.
