Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Maryland

Bankruptcy and Wage Garnishment Question 2

Thanks Daniel. I have another question. I do have a lawyer already and this is my first time filing chapter 7. I just received a notice on April 16th stating that on April 14th the district court issued a writ of garnishment of wages against me. I am not sure if the condo associ. has received notice of the bankruptcy filing. So my understanding is that they cannot garnish my wages...correct?

Talk to your lawyer - but that is correct. You need to make sure they have notice.
