Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland

are judgements you owe to a sold company still valid

I had a judgment placed against me for breaking a lease on an apartment complex. However, a year after the judgment was entered the apartment complex (town & Country trust) was sold. My question is; is the judgment still enforceable/do i still owe the money?

Yes - the sale of the complex would not affect the judgment or even to whom you owe it.
