2nd degree assualt

If me and my girlfriend got into a fight and the state picked up the charges how can i get it dismissed?

This type of serious charge will almost always be prosecuted by the state, regardless of whether you and your girlfriend want it to be dropped. You should get a defense attorney as soon as possible.
