Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

legal custody

I have sole legal custody of my 3 small kids and sole physical custody. their dad has visitation. My question is, if he is planning a religous wedding ceremony with his fiance and having all 3 kids in the wedding party, is he obligated to tell me about this, not just out of respect but because i have sole legal custody. Or can he just keep the wedding a secret and have the kids involved if it is his visitation weekend.

Re: legal custody

It is unclear if you are upset about the religious ceremony because it is not your religion or if you're upset about the wedding that is being kept a secret. The children's father has the right to share his celebration with the children. He is doing nothing illegal or immoral. Let your children enjoy their time with their father. And let their father enjoy his children. It's the best thing you can do for your children.
