Re: abandoned car

You can't really get title to the car without the owner's cooperation. If you can get in touch with her, make her an offer to buy it. She apparently has no interest in the car. If she refuses to sell, tell her you will have the car removed from your property and put on the public street, at which time it will be subject to removal by the police. Then she'll lose the car because the government will auction it off to pay for storage charges. If you've had offers from people to buy it, you ought to be able to make a profit even after paying her and perhaps some fix up costs. I suspect she'll be willing to sell it or will have it removed quickly.
