Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland

Dear Mrs/Mr

This summer I will travel for first time in Greece (this is also my first travel outside US since my h1b visa was approved).

So I would like to ask you about the documents I will need when I go to the american embassy in Greece in order to get my visa.

Can you provide me a checklist with the needed documents?

Thank you.

If you already have an H-1B visa issued by a U.S. Consulate in your passport, then the issue is whether or not Greece will issue an H-1B visa for a third country national (assuming you are not Greek).

If you do not have an H-1B visa issued in your passport & you are not a Greek national, then the U.S. Consulate in Greece cannot issue your 1st H-1B visa. In that instance, you would need to return to your home country to have it issued.

A checklist of documents should be available on the U.S. Consulate website for which you will have your appointment.
