Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland

Hey all

Just wanna know how long it takes to sponsor a daughter to come to US when a person is of permanent resident status for a year. I know you can only apply once you become a full US citizen but I'd like to know the total time frame in this process. Also if the daughter is married, her husband comes with her right?

Thanks

A permanent resident can petition only for unmarried daugher. If she is married, he can't petition for her until he becomes a USA citizen. Waiting time (many years) depends on her country of birth. For people from most counties, it's about 9 years.
