Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland

In July I accepted a full time position at work. Before then I was a part time employee. The human resources dept sent me the paper work to enroll in health insurance with the employment status change date as the day I started my full time position. After the paperwork was processed and I received my cards in the mail I get my pay stub showing that they are charging me the part time rate for insurance. On top of that they are now stealing my ppt time each pay period because I am maxed out at the part time level. They have been paying me for full time hrs since February. Can I sue them for anything

Have you spoken with the company's HR department about the discrepancy? It may be administrative error that they are willing to correct. You should think long and hard before suing your employer -- that doesn't do good things for your future at that company. With that said, I strongly recommend that you consult a Maryland labor and employment attorney who can discuss the facts of your case more specifically and provide you with your legal options and chances of success.

Best of luck.*******The above is for informational purposes and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
