Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Maryland

lease renewal?
I signed a 12 month lease for a residence in MD. The landlord broke this down into two 6 month periods: 11/04-6/05 and 7/05-11/05 so that he could have the option to lease it again in July (I'm guessing for more rent since he had a hard time finding someone in the winter mos. until I came along.) I am also assuming this means that I must re-new it in July and was wondering if you think I can move at that time instead of staying until 11/05. i.e. would I be breaking the lease if I moved in July 05 or am I able to do that free and clear? Thank you.

Did you sign two separate leases? Does the lease document say anything about automatic renewal after the first six months?
