Legal Question in Personal Injury in Maryland

Can a partner in an LLC owning real property sue the LLC for injuries sustained on the property. In essence suing himself. The question stems from the condition of an LLC board denying recreational use of thee property by the LLC partners in fear of potential lawsuits if injuries are sustained. We are talking about the state of MD.

Generally, Maryland laws views an LLC as a person. In other words, an LLC can enter into contracts, convey property, sue and be sued. Specifically, the answer to your question is "It depends." Is there a partnership or operating agreement in place? What are the terms? Indemnity provisions? Agreements not to sue?

You don't describe the property, manner of the person upon the property or injuries. Property held by an LLC can be attached.
