Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Maryland

if i'm 17 and he's 22 is it legal?

If my 22 year old bf and I (being 17) have sex, would he be liable to any criminal charges? is it legal?

Just to let you know, this questions actually does not fall into the sexual harassment category unless the bf is your boss. You need to check the age of consent in Maryland. See http://www.ageofconsent.com/maryland.htm.
