Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Maryland

If a spouse is named as the beneficiary in her husbands will and then they divorce does this revoke the will or can he simply change the beneficiary. I heard that in some states the divorce revokes this. I am and the will is recorded in the state of Maryland.
